I’m Tyler Lanier, a computer science student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, specializing in cybersecurity.
As a first-generation college student, I’m dedicated to mastering the skills needed to safeguard and enhance digital systems.
In my role as a junior software developer at Ad Magic, I focus on leveraging SOQL and Apex to optimize Salesforce applications. This position allows me to make a tangible impact and apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.
My experience is further supported by my skills in C++ and Python, which enhance my ability to tackle complex problems and develop effective solutions.
My active participation within CCDC at my University has given me valuable insights into the workforce.
I have played role in red-teaming, black-teaming, and blue-teaming. Thus, ranging from security hardening, delpoyment of services (such as kubernetes, databases like influxdb, teleport, etc.), infrastructure design (proxmox clustering), network configuration, pentration testing, and much more.
As upcoming captain (2025) for my team, I also have played a crucial role in leadership and communication.
